From the vigor analysis of plants, it’s possible to quickly detect stressed crop areas; which can be caused by diseases, pests, lack of water, or poor care. To do this, we make use of 4 different vigor indexes: NDVI, ENDVI, NGRDI, VARI. These are selected depending on the sensors used in the overflight.
This report quantifies the percentage of vegetation coverage. It’s an immediate indicator that allows the quantification of the effects of diseases, pests and other environmental contingencies. In addition, foliar density can be used as a reference indicator to evaluate crops’ life cycle progress.
